These pictures were taken
during Martin's visit to Nashville, TN on April 26 - 30, 2003. I stayed at
the Gaylord Opryland Resort, a magnificent hotel that looks like a small
city. The Ryman Auditorium is a very nice concert hall where the most famous
Country Music artists love to perform. It used to be a church but it was
later converted into a concert hall.
As you can see, the Gaylord family owns a lot of
real estate in Nashville. They own the hotel where I stayed, the Ryman
Auditorium, the famous Grand Ole Opry and lots of others entertainment
facilities. The
"Parthenon" was originally constructed in 1896 to commemorate the first 100
years of the State of Tennessee.
"Legends Corner" is a very famous bar (next to the
Ryman Auditorium) where Country Music is performed live all day long.
If you are into Country Music then Nashville is
for you, otherwise, don't bother visiting. |
